2 out of 5 stars False advertising, beware!   October 31, 2008

So the compatibility on this product seems incredible. Almost too good to be true... oh wait, it is!
I can't exactly blame the advertiser on this site, because they were only copying it from the back of the package, which flaunts all kinds of card compatibilities, including micro-sd. There are exceptions tho, like the MMC micro and Memory Stick Micro (M2) which require an adapter.

Too bad micro-sd isnt on this list...too bad it doesnt say anywhere that you require an adapter for a micro-sd card to put in this adapter. So, unless you are fine with using an adapter for an adapter, I would stay away. I wish someone would have warned me -_-

5 out of 5 stars Best solution for MBP   October 9, 2008

Ive returned three other Express card readers and this is the only one ive found that reads SDHC and doesnt cause narcolepsy on MacBook Pros. I can put it in my MBP and just leave it there forever.

Falls just short of being perfect by not blending in with the aluminum design on the outward surface, but hey, nothing is perfect.

Haven't had a single problem with this. It reads my SDHC card without a problem in my macbook pro.

5 out of 5 stars perfect with the Macbook Pro!   September 23, 2008

Works flawlessly with my Macbook Pro (Intel 2.2ghz 15.4"). It sits flush on the side and functions as it should. Just put it in and it works, no installation no nothing needed. Transfer speeds are very fast and it's build is good.

Perfect for my photography needs! I used a Nikon D80 and now use a Pentax K20D and they both use SD and SDHC cards. I use Sandisk Extreme III 8GB SDHC cards and no problems handling them! I love that I don't have any dangling cables and adapters attached to my laptop :)

5 out of 5 stars Works out of the box.   July 19, 2008

This product is great, and the shipping is very fast. I ordered it late at night on a Tuesday and received it the following Friday. My main concern was whether or not this would work with linux. I tested it with the memory card I use for the phone, and it works out of the box with Ubuntu 8.04.
