I've tried this on two different computers. The computers recognize the device but not the memory cards in it.

I bought five of them, but one didn't work. I let you know about this, but didn't get an answer. The poduct is very useful because you can also use it as a flash drive with an SD memory card.

I bought this SDHC card reader because I was having some problems transferring a video I made from my camera to my computer, for editing and making DVDs. My thinking was that I would buy this SDHC card reader and then take the SDHC card with the video out of my camera and just plug it into the SDHC card reader and get it to my computer that way. I have now done this several times and this SDHC card reader has worked perfectly every time on both SD and SDHC cards. No complaints. Happy with purchase and would buy again

I love using this card reader to quickly upload my digital photos onto my computer. So simple to pop the card into the reader and the reader into the computer. Sure beats finding the cable to the camera each time!! Small enough to throw in the camera bag and very fast!! Unbeatable price!
