The DataTraveler from Kingston helps budget-conscious users break storage barriers, allowing them to easily store and move large files in a device no bigger than a pocketknife, replacing the need for floppies or the hassle of burning CDs.As easy as click and drag, the DataTraveler can hold just about any file you can think of: term papers, theses, digital images, spreadsheets or other important documents. It works with virtually any computer with a USB port - even cross-platform from Macintosh to PC and vice versa.

4 out of 5 stars Just what I needed   November 22, 2008
Michael D. Parsons (Indianapolis IN)
Great for our SHARED computer. I plug it in when I am on-line and files I need/want to save I save to my USB drive. Then when I'm done, simply un-plug it and I don't have to worry if someone is trying to access my files, and I don't have to worry if the files might be offensive to my roommates.Kingston Data Traveler 2 GB USB Drive (DTI/2GB) Is great for keeping my personal data safe as far as I'm concerned, plus I can take it with me and use it on any computer so visiting home, I will still have access to the files I need/want the most

5 out of 5 stars Even better than expected!   November 17, 2008
GrammarGeek (Central Illinois)
I've purchased many Kingston flash drives, and I've only ever had one DOA (though they issued an RMA promptly - good service). It was a 2GB, and I worried about the quality of their higher-capacity drives after that. However, the price on this 8GB was good, so I took the plunge and bought two. I have not been disappointed with either one! In fact, the write speed is about twice what I usually see on my 1GB versions of this drive! Highly recommended, especially to those who don't want to bother with U3 or need ReadyBoost. This drive is a solid performer.

5 out of 5 stars KINGSTON, ALWAYS THE RIGHT ONE   November 16, 2008

The Kingston flash drives always work right out of the package no matter what system you use. PC or MAC, I have used many of the 1 GB drives and decided to go to an 8 GB to save having so many smaller drives. Very satisfied with all of them.

5 out of 5 stars Good Deal   November 16, 2008
J. Hahn (Chicago)
I have owned several different brands of flash drives, some good, some failed within a few weeks. Kingston ALWAYS works, lasts, and is a great value. I am a big fan of all Kingston memory products.

5 out of 5 stars Carried in pocket for two years and still Going Strong   November 16, 2008
jadaki (Eastern KY)
I work in the schools on computers and this is my main tool. I have carried this in my pocket along with keys, change, etc. for two years and sure it's scuffed up on the outside but still works perfectly. These Kingston don't have all those cute little programs that try to install every time you want to use it like others do. I just need a simple device to carry data and these are the best. I keep an extra one around to sell the teachers when either they don't have one or their Walmart one has come apart. I don't make any profit but the teachers are starting to use usb flash drives more and more and are happy for the convenience. These Kingston drives are absolutely the best that I have seen and I have seen a bunch of them.
