Excellent product and fast delivery November 22, 2008 Y. Tang The SanDisk Cruzer Micro 16 GB USB 2.0 Flash Drive is an excellent product. It's easy to use and install on your computer with lots of customization options. It also arrived very quickly.
OK; BUT JUST November 16, 2008 R. Byrd (Leoma, TN) 1 out of 7 found this review helpful
I purchased the SanDisk Cruzer Micro 16GB Flash Drive for back-up storage. I don't use the U3 software and could use the extra space. The product is cheaply made, but for the price I guess it is okay. The thing I want to caution anyone buying a SanDisk product is BEWARE of the WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE on the planet. I am planning on purchasing a 32GB flash drive, and you can bet it won't be a SanDisk.
Nice drive that works with Mac OS X October 7, 2008 N. Silva 6 out of 7 found this review helpful
It's nice to have so much storage in such a small space. The retractable USB port is the best feature -- I hate losing those little caps that other brands have.
Like some other reviewers, I'm on a Mac and I'm happy to report that the drive works great and can be reformatted using OS X's Disk Utility. Some earlier U3 drives had problems with Macs.
The only drawback to this drive is its blinking light. When you plug the Cruzer into your laptop, you'll have a bright orange pulsing light in your peripheral vision. Very annoying! Fortunately I only use this drive for short periods of time, to transfer files between computers. If I was using it all day long I would need some way to cover the light.
UPDATE: This drive worked great between Macs. I eventually used this drive to move some files from my Mac to a PC. When I plugged the drive into the PC, the U3 partition was still there, and U3 ran automatically on the PC. Even though I had previously reformatted the drive using my Mac, it didn't get rid of U3! Unfortunately, it appears that U3 went through its "first time" wizard and reformatted the drive, causing it to lose the data I had copied from my Mac. I ran the U3 uninstaller (available from the support section of the U3 web site). Once U3 was truly gone, it behaved as a normal drive.
16B flash drive September 22, 2008 L. Bagley (Danbury, CT) 5 out of 10 found this review helpful
This flash drive is used by the Tech Team for sensitive data. The portibility and convenience of 16GB in a flash drive is a huge advantage for an IT staff on the go.
SanDisk 16 GB Cruzer Micro August 28, 2008 J. Hatchett (Arcata, CA) 5 out of 5 found this review helpful
I only buy SanDisk flash products, and have always been satisfied. I always remove the U3 programs and load up my own favorite Portable apps so I can have a personal experience at school and work. I will purchase a 32 GB as soon as they let them loose and the price drops below $100.00...
